Rotogravure printing

Traditionally, the costs of pre-press are greater with rotogravure than with flexographic printing, even though new developments are bringing costs down. However, the ability to print large volumes (up to 5 million impressions) with the same set of cylinders means these costs become insignificant when used for long runs.

Superior reproduction of photos and graphics, combined with the exceptional brightness and saturation achieved through the rotogravure process, provide the best printing quality available. In addition, rotogravure enables designs to be printed repeatedly without any seams or gaps.

For these and other reasons, rotogravure is the clear choice for high-end packaging products to be printed in large quantities.
