Advantages with Rotogravure:
- Better suited for large quantity runs thanks to greater stability and very high repeatability of quality (extremely small differences from one series to the next)
- Superior image depth
- Better gradation thanks to lower raster (dots as low as 4% while flexographic unable to go lower than 10%)
- Rotogravure offers a screen resolution of up to 80 lines/cm as compared to a maximum of 48 lines/cm for flexographic printing
