Established in Kvidinge, Sweden by Josef David Stenqvist in 1894, the company eventually grew to become a large converter of paper on the domestic market. As new developments arose, such as the emergence of plastic bags in the 1950’s, Stenqvist was quick to react, always determined to be able to answer customer’s every need.

During the 1990’s, the company expanded beyond the borders of Sweden, acquiring production facilities in other parts of Scandinavia and Europe. Since then, Stenqvist has become a major player on the international packaging market thanks to highly knowledgeable and dedicated staff who carries on the Stenqvist tradition.
